Mr. Dewey is the Founder and President of InTouch Life Sciences, a successful life science business development and commercialization firm located in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Mr. Dewey has over 30 years of experience with pharmaceutical research and development, pharmaceutical sales and marketing, and consumer product sales and marketing. He began his career as a research bio-organic chemist with Eli Lilly & Co. synthesizing and characterizing proteins and peptides. He was selected for assignments with Lilly’s pharmaceutical sales and marketing teams during which he successfully introduced several of Lilly’s products.

Mr. Dewey was promoted to Lilly’s consumer products division where he served as Director of Sales and Marketing—United Kingdom, National Sales Manager—Canada and held various management positions in the United States. He consistently employed and developed successful people and increased market share while appropriately decreasing selling expenses.

Later he gained valuable experience in the medical devices sector, as Head of Regional Sales at IVAC prior to its being spun-out from Eli Lilly. He was a significant member of the management team for the Lilly prototype start-up which soon became Guidant Corporation.

Mr. Dewey’s distinguished corporate career continued at Boston Healthcare Associates as Executive Director executing corporate development initiatives for several life science clients in the US and Europe.

Mr. Dewey holds a degree in Bio-Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois and has participated in leadership programs/courses at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, Northwestern University and Quality Management Institute. He is a member of the Licensing Executive Society (LES) and the North Carolina Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED).
